Restaurant Name: The Ivy
It wasn't quite what i was expecting, in terms of decor. Whatever picture i had in my mind, it wasn't the right one.. You hear about The Ivy, the place where the celebrities go for fine dining, where you can't get a table etc
It is not a massive place, and tables are fairly close to one another. There is mahoganey panelling yet modern pictures on the walls.
The menu is a combination of local and international dishes. Bangers & mash, chicken tikka massala, hamburger and chips etc.
Deserts were divine.
With a couple of good bottles of wine, and 3 courses each, our bill came to about 50 pound per head. I thought it was going to be a lot more.
They keep tables aside for the celebs who might ring up last minute, so it is worth giving them a call a couple of days prior to your required date, cos you never know, you might just be lucky to get a table.
