    Yes, I am thriving - off to Russia and Peru this year, visiting children. Hope to visit Amsterdam and the newly opened Rijksmuseum and of course, we go up and down to London every month or so. I am so totally disenchanted with VT that I very rarely post now. I have decided to leave advice and comments to those whom seem to know better! I miss the repartee but in the end, the angst wasn't worth the effort. However, I do check in now and again, just to keep a weather eye on what is, or is not, happening.

  Hello, Can I please pick your brains? My family, 2 adults, 2 kids are renting a flat in central malaga off a friend. There is no pool and I was wondering do you know of a good hotel nearby (short taxi ride okay) that we can use the facilities if we pay a daily rate? thanks for your help.

    Sorry, I have just seen your post - and sorry, but cannot suggest anywhere, as I am not at all familiar with hotels in Malaga. Surely the friend from whom you are renting would be able to help.
