To be in Tokyo in December/January is not the worst thing that could happen to you! Though it is a bit cold, the chances that the weather is fine are better than usually. It's said that it rains a lot in Japan, but we never needed an umbrella, the sky was always blue and as the Japanese have many evergreen trees, there are enough green spots left. Being there at New Year's Eve was quite special as well, no partying but going to the Meiji Shrine with thousands of other people. |
