One day in Bangkok...

by Ines28 - last update: May 15, 2004

Me eating green noodles!
As we only had 1 day in Bangkok this time and had already seen most of the major sights, we decided to make it as relaxing as possible. Therefore we just went shopping at Siam Square and visited the Jim Thompson House, which was just fine. We always avoided Tuk tuks because of the smog, but this time we tried it nevertheless. Before arriving at the Jim Thompson House we had to stop at several jewellery shops and tailors, but who cares if the 25 minutes trip only costs you 10 BHT!

Pros:"Good shopping and beautiful temples"
Cons:"It`s just too big to be explored on foot!!"
