| | My work in Kabul I was working here in Kabul over Christmas and New Year of 2003/2004. I was a reservist then so I was able to volunteer to work out in Afghanistan. Since it is so hard (and dangerous) to travel here as a tourist I felt very lucky to be able to see the country as part of my job.
This photo shows me working with my interpreter (called Dave aswell!) |
Stunning Ruined Palaces Kabul itself can be stunning, especially in the morning. THis photo is of the Queens Palace right in the SW of the city caught is the extreme early morning - 0500! (One of the bad things about the job was the early mornings!) | | |
| | Kabul City continued... There are some stunning views from around the high points of the City but you have to make sure you avoid the dusty days! Although even then you can get some great shots! |
