Our Bangkok Jinx is finally over!

It seems finally our Bangkok jinx is over! We failed to make it to Bangkok three time in the last 4 years! First, we bought tickets booked hotel for 3rd Jan'2009 but Munu's school denied leave for one week. We had to cancel all our bookings and lost about USD$1000 in tickets and hotel bookings for three. Then in 2010, I was going to Phuket and Bangkok, after getting boarding pass , I was turned down by Immigration as my passport was short by 4 days for mandatory 180 days validity to get Visa on arrival, I had to come back home at 3.00AM. Third and final time was last year, in October'11 , when my mother expired, we again had to cancel tickets for three of us.
In March end we were going to Bali via Bangkok, I could finally land in Bangkok after a gap of about 28 years!!!! My last visit to Bangkok was in 1984!! So the Jinx is finally over, we could finally touch the soil of Thailand and spend about 3 hrs in Suvarnabhumi both ways. I have also started my Bangkok page finally. This time I shall write only about Subarnabhumi and airport. But soon we are planning a trip to Thailand probably in October'12.

As said earlier, we finally made it to Thailand , land of our dream, which was eluding us for several years! We could finally land there on 21st October 12 morning at 6.00AM. It was a great feeling for us, which can't be explained it words as we could not go to Thailand even after trying so hard since 2009!
The city itself has gone through sea of changes since I visited last way back in 1984! ( TBD) I shall now try to make this page even better than my other pages.
