The Pyramids are a must see in Egypt. I booked a day excursion thru the hotel; however, it took 10 hours by bus to get there. You travel in a convoy of approx. 50 buses under police security. It cost about 50 Euros and this gives you transportation; entrance fees to the Pyramids; Egyptian Museum and also lunch.

There are numerous mosques within Egypt. You see them everywhere and they are very beautiful. This photo was taken from inside the bus I was travelling on towards Cairo.

Luxor

In Luxor, Egypt , we visited The Karnak Temple. This place is very big and it takes hours to walk around and truly appreciate it's history.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Weather; Nice Resorts; Beaches; Shopping
Cons:Locals can be a bit demanding at markets
In a nutshell:It takes more than 10 days to discover and truly appreciate Egypt !!!!
