Mattawa

Along the way from Petawawa to Kirkland Lake, there is a small town known as Mattawa. I like to stop there after I've been driving for a couple of hours.

My favorite place in Mattawa is the park; it is located next to a beautiful lake which sits at the base of this mountain. In the summertime, you can walk down to the lake and just sit on one of the many large rocks.
