Crawley Travel Guide: 14 reviews and 28 photos
I'm afraid my sole reason for visiting Crawley, was to stay at the Arora Hotel, as it was quite near to Gatwick Airport.
As I arrived in the early hours, then left just after breakfast time, to return to the airport, again I saw very little of Crawley. I did see a fox strolling across the road, a few retail parks/ housing estates (could have been any town in the UK) and the taxi driver was a local, who was the first stereotypical taxi driver I'd ever met..I think he gave me his views on travel, politics, religion and music in the short journey..all quite entertaining though!
I'm sure that if I have to travel to/from Gatwick again, I'll be staying at this hotel again, so I might discover something about Crawley!
- Pros:Great Hotel near Gatwick Airport
- Cons:From the small part I saw, the town looked quite uninspiring
