Fiesta de la Cruz - Granada

The 3rd of may is a special day in Granada as the Fiesta de la Cruz (or Las Cruces de mayo) is celebrated. Great, flower-decorated crosses are set up everywhere in town, traditionally dressed people dance around and everyone is on his feet, at least for one day. Young people celebrate Las Cruzes till the early morning, I´ve never seen such a great big party before

Excellent tapas for free

A very special local custom in Andalucia is that you get some tapas when ordering a drink in a bar. Those tapas are home-made, often excellent little fishes, olives, gambas or grilled vegetables are very very delicious.
So for a couple of San Miguel you get a varied dinner for free. :-))))
