"Rome" Rome by AVSENT

I stopped in Rome on the way to Greece. It was just two days, but I took bus tours and saw quite a bit.

Street Market.

I was able to make arrangements for the bus tour directly with the front desk of the hotel I stayed in. My plans were to stay here one night (Booked in advance) and decide after arrival whether or not to stay longer after checking the hotel out. The hotel (For the price-compared to other hotels) was a steal so, instead of taking the risk of changing to a dumpy hotel and the aggravation associated with the move-I decided on the second night.
The hotel Napolean has a nice restaurant so, the first thing I did was have a nice authentic Italian dinner. Some very nice veal and pasta w/ bread was my selection and the meal was delicious. Afterwards, I checked out the Metro system and headed to Piazza di Spagna (Spanish Steps) and took a walk. Here I found street vendors selling roasted chestnuts and decided to give them a try even though I was still stuffed from dinner. They were excellent and cost about 2 EUR. (cont....)
