Caracas is the capital and largest city in Venezuela. It lies in a valley a short distance from the sea. The airport Simon Bolivar International Airport CCS is located by the sea and the city is a short drive over a small mountain range. The city itself cascades over several hills and reaches into surrounding valleys.
