Long ago and far away... way before the London Eye and Tate Modern exist... I spent 3 months in London.
There is nothing better than being able to stay in a city for that long, instead of having to rush from place to place as we usually do when travelling.
It was an unusual sunny summer and it was great to enjoy it with long strolls, people watching on a bench at the various beautiful gardens, several visits to the British Museum -- which is a bless in order to see it as slowly as it deserves -- and the most delightful feeling of being almost a local ( whit bad english, of course ).
My scanner went out of order just when I was trying to build the pages and I have just few pics available... so, they may not be that useful as a travel guide, but they will just bring me back some great memories...

I used to call this house my dream house and I would pass by several times just to look at it... Located in charming Hampstead, it enticed me every time. Enlarge the picture and you will see all its charm.

The World is Small, and VT is Grand...I just got a comment and a message from VTer Sharon telling me she has a pic of the same house on one of her Hampstead Travelogues. Now I just got more material to my wonderings on the house... :-)) Why there are no more flowers in it??? It looks just so plain normal now....

Well, its not totally all serious about salsa, just enjoy getting into those sort of 'bootcamps' once in a while - beats work ANYTIME !! Can do abit of the samba, but still lots to learn .. probably have to come to Rio ... muahahahah | ahoerner Thu Aug 25, 2005 17:33 UTC

I had this amazing chance to Live in Hampstead which i LOVE so much ! Amazing neighborhood, not a place the avarage tourist will see... And i sure know this little pink house.. I think i have its photo as well :-) |
