  • Our hotel room view looked straight at the CN Tower, so we had to visit!

Although the day we did visit it was really foggy, so the top was closed, and we couldnt really see anything - unfortunatley we diddnt get another chance to go, but my main tip would be
"VISIT THE CN TOWER ON A CLEAR DAY"

However, the glass floor is very scary, and I did manage to stand on it, but dont think I could of had it been a clear day!!!

Harbourfront & Toronto Islands: Toronto Harbour
  • Tip Rating:
  • We were only in Toronto a short time, and being February it was SO COLD!!
We diddnt actually go out to the Islands, but if I went back during the summertime I definatly would go to the islands!

They are a hotspot during the summer months, people go there to fish, swim and cycle amongst many other possibilities.

We made do with wandering along the harbourfront in the chilly weather, it was really beautiful looking back at all of the skyscrapers that line the waterfront.

  • I enjoyed wandering the streets of Toronto more than anything, it feels so safe and the Canadians are so friendly.

The weather was miserable, which is what we expected but it diddnt ruin our holiday.

Yonge Street is the main throughfare in Toronto, filled with shops and eateries.

    Rogers Centre / Skydome: Skydome
  • Tip Rating:
  • When we were in Toronto the big thing on at the Skydome was the WWF.

We diddnt go and see the wrestling, but the skydome itself is amazing! Its home to the Argonauts (Canadian Footy team) and the bluejays (baseball).

They have a hotel overlooking the playingfield!

Interesting page about this canadian metropolis. Brings back many memories of my days in Toronto. A pit your camera broke on that trip ... :-(

You are very brave to visit Canada in Feb. That's when I like to leave and head somewhere warm!! I'm glad you enjoyed your trip nonetheless and that my fellow Canadians left a good impression on you. We hope you will come back soon!

Great Start, You were very brave to stand on the glass floor, considering you hate heights! (~_~)
