Lefkada is located within the Ionian Islands.
Some would argue that it actually isnt an island?!? This is because there is a bridge in Lefkada town connecting the island to the mainland.
It is a beautiful island, with fabulous scenery whatever way you turn. It is fairly untouched compared to some of the other islands.
I adored it here and will certainly be returning. |

We did a boat trip to Lefkas and saw the cavethat housed the sub, but we also were allowed to dock at Onassis Island and could swim to shore but only to sit on the beach. It was fabulous. |
