We visited Nisyros for the day from Kos, it is an absolutley stunning island.

We took the ferry there and back, explored the main town of Mandraki and then took the steep scary journey to see the volcano!

The aim for us was to see the volcano during our holiday, and it was amazing! The smell is vulgar, it smells of rotten eggs!! Its actually sulphur and its really awful!

Pros and Cons
  • Pros:vvv hot, scenic, fab daytrip
  • Cons:vvvvvvvvv hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • In a nutshell:a typical Greek town and a superb volcano
