This was a superb little hotel, well located in the "Grand Boulevard" area of Paris just off of Boulevard Bonne Nouvelle, where there is a main metro station.
There were plenty of eateries, bars and shops in this area.
I felt safe here at all times and would have no hesitation in staying here again.
It was a 20 minute walk to the Louvre, the same to Ile de la Cite and Notre Dame.
Only 15minutes on the metro from Gallieni.
Unique Qualities: We paid just 40euro per night for our room, this was for a small double room with a washbasin, and downstairs there is a shared shower. The toilet was just across the landing from our room.
They also have rooms with private facilities.
Breakfast consists of fresh bread and jam with tea, coffee and juice - this costs 4euro per person.
The hotel has a small lounge area, the breakfast room, tourist information leaflets, and staff that are so friendly and helpful.
There were a lot of French guests when we were here which I would say was a good thing!

Bilou Wed Feb 6, 2008 14:29 UTC sorry, wrong message | astraltraveller Tue Sep 26, 2006 15:48 UTC Wife and I just back from Paris. These guys are a menace! We were approached twice on the steps from SC. Guy grabbed my wrist and I jerked my arm away. We ended up going all sorts of circuitous routes to avoid them.
