Singapore was the first place that I visited in the Far East, and I think that it is a great introduction for anyone (esp from the West) to the East.
Singapore is an Island attatched to the mainland by bridge, my stay focused in the City Centre area, which is made up of all different areas relating to ethnic groups that live here.
All too often Singapore is overlooked and people only visit as a short stopover city, this is such a shame because it truly is a fabulous city/country, offering something for everyone, I spent six days here and I still did not see everything that was on offer!
Singapore is known for its cleanliness, its strict rules and regulations.....but you know what ? It works.....I dont think that I have ever felt as safe anywhere in the world as I did here in Singapore.
