"Bierstadt Kulmbach, not only (but mostly) beer!" Kulmbach by Carletto76

town of northern Bavaria, Franken to be more precise, which is called "Bierstadt", town of beer, and the name is not a coincidence!
And it's strange that no one wrote a page about Kulmbach before me, so I really HAD to write something about this town and its more important event of the year, the "Bierwoche", i.e. the week of beer! ;-)

• Pros:Very pleasant old town, great beer!
• Cons:Hard to fina accomodation during the festival
• In a nutshell:Not only (but mostly) for beer lovers! ;-)
