Getting TO/AROUND: Central train Station of Roma is "stazione Termini".Fascist building,has got some shops inside and under,a big library,it's the only point in which the two metro lines meet themselves,and it's also the biggest bus station to go/come from anywhere in the capital,and to come from/go anywhere in Italy...

Getting TO/AROUND: one of the most traffic point of the south-east of the city is Porta Maggiore.Trams 14,5,19 pass from here together with all the rest of the traffic beasts of Rome,motos,cars,trucks,vans,cats,trains,airplains....and anything else exept bicycles...well sometimes there is some brave on bicycle,but it is not the most advisale way-to-go in Rome....

Cars & Scooters: Via dei Fori Imperiali

Getting TO/AROUND: Via Dei Fori Imperiali brings from Piazza Venezia to the Colossium...Mussolini built it to have a road on wich celebrate italians army (italian what?!),it is said he crushed a beatiful medioeval zone in order of doing it....well,every tourist that comes in Rome pass through this road.It's really impressive and here I just wanna say do not be scared or disgusted by the car traffic and noise,try to take two step on it during the deep night time,then tell how does it looks.The city must live,over the ruins and the glories of the past,under the gas clouds and noise of the present.

Getting TO/AROUND: This could be happened one hundred years ago...horses all over the Rome,and the smell of their needs istead of....well,today I was talking with a couple of tourists from London,and at the classic question:do you like Rome?.."it's caotic" it's been the answer,but even if this is true,Rome isn't different from other modern cities.But the problem is that Rome ,like many other italian cities, wasn't born in order to be used by masses of people and cars,so there are not the right structure,the roads are almost the same from centuries,a good metro line couldn't be build here......
