A week in spa heaven at the Grand Velas | Sunset at the Grand Velas resort |
I have to disclose upfront that during a recent 7-day trip to Nuevo Vallarta, I did not leave my resort at all. Therefore, I did not really "see" Nuevo Vallarta--only the Grand Velas resort....
But, the sunsets were beautiful, the water at the beach fairly warm.
There is alot of new development in Nuevo Vallarta, which is just 15 minutes north of the Puerto Vallarta International Airport.. Nuevo Vallarta is actually in the state of Nayarit (Puerto Vallarta is in the state of Jalisco.)

We just got back from Nayarit and stayed in the little town of San Pancho. It was wonderful, and you are so right about the sunsets! Surviving the rains fine up here and thank you so much for the birthday greeting! |
