Feast of St Jude - there is a small church up on a hilllock behind the town's police station and train station, which comes alive and packed full of devotees from all over the world come the week running up to the feast day of the church. otherwise, rawang was a sleepy town when i first visited it in 1998 but now it's expanding so fast taht i almost did't recognise it when i visited it the second time.
