    • This is a hotel frequented by large tour groups from regional countries. But the loads of tour groups did not detract from the efficency of hotel staff. Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Daily buffet breakfast included passable Western food. The hotel has a pleasant, clean swimming pool. The tour reps in the lobby will PHONE YOUR ROOM everyday if you disclose your name/ room number, so don't do so unless you want daily wake-up calls. Starbucks coffee shop shares the property so you can escape for morning coffee and Bangkok Post. Night bazaar is just across the soi if you're a shopper or want to enjoy the nightlife. The hotel is a soft-landing for budget-moderate travellers who make their first triip to Chiang Mai. swampybob_1@yahoo.com
