Moshi, in the Shadow of Kilimanjaro

by drcondon - last update: Feb 12, 2005

Tanzania is an amazing country and you really have to experience it. I was on a medical elective before i qualified as a doctor and working in Kilimanjaro Christian Medical College.
The people are the friendliest in the whole of the world. They are all beautiful.

One "hapana asante" is worth a thousand "no thank yous". When you walk around town, they seem to have turf and drop off when you cross a side street to the next block. Older onlookers shake their heads disapprovingly and sometimes even call them off.
