Having lived in Nottingham for all of my life you could say that my opinions do not count about this great City.
What have we got :
Important things first - Shopping. Designer Shops, 2 large shopping centres - Victoria Centre and the Broad Marsh Centre.
Robin Hood - there is a large statue of Robin outside the Nottingham Castle ( yes we even have a Castle )
Tourists flock to this site from all over the world.
Sherwood Forest - Not exactly in the City Centre, but well worth a visit.
Nottingham Lace Market - at one time this area was filled with Lace Making factories, these have now been converted into luxury apartments - so if you are visiting Nottingham you may wish to avoid this area, there are shops in the City that still sell Nottingham Lace.
TRAMS - we now have a tram service up and running, its a great modern way of getting around the City Centre and its outskirts without having to find car parking facilities
Very cheap as well ?2 for a day return.
Entertainment - Royal Concert Hall and Theatre Royal - both based in the City Centre. Ice Skating Arena.
2 Football clubs - Nottingham Forest and Notts County -come on you reds !!
Trent Bridge Cricket Team
Panthers Ice Hockey
The nightlife is unbelievable - lots of pubs, clubs, cinemas etc
Local Train Station, Bus Station and Nottm East Midlands Airport !!
