The holiday of a lifetime!

Irish Tricolour
Kegs outside a pub on Inis Oirr
I lived in Ireland from June 13th to September 9th, 2003. I didn't have an apartment, but travelled all over. I spent six weeks studying the Irish language in County Donegal, attended four music festivals, learned to busk in Ballyshannon and Galway, learned to knit on Inis Oirr, and made friends with a horse in Doolin. It was an interesting summer! As I get the chance I will be adding more tips and information to my Ireland page as well as my individual town pages.

Cons:"What's a non-pubdweller to do at night?"

These pictures will soon be antique. The Killybegs post office has moved to a a new modern building in is the Spar supermarket and the post office somewhere at the back. In another 5 years time there will be very few 'old' post offices left
