| On the ferry between Lido and Venice |
Lido is a small island near Venice, and it's where most of the people who work in Venice actually live. There are regular ferries between the two islands and it only takes a few minutes to get from one to the other. We took a car ferry from the mainland to Lido and were able to park at our hotel. |
Interesting control box... This thing was on the wall in our room. I'm guessing it was a thermostat of some kind but it wasn't terribly clear about what the switches did. Any ideas? |
