"Nice" a Nice Travel Page by astro_kerryn

I only spent a couple of days in Nice, but I loved it! It has such a multicultural, eclectic vibe. Fantastic food and heaps of restaurants and cafe's. Lots of people out and about through the streets at night, great markets, which change depending on the time of day. In the early morning they sell fruit, fish, flowers and other produce wholesale to local restaurants and shops, and to the general public. During the day it more arts, crafts etc, and in the eveings its delicious food and geared more towards tourists. At least it was like that when I was there! There are a lot of buskers, snake handlers etc through the streets and a positive vibe. The shopping is good, with all the major brands and some curious little places.

At the end of the beach you can walk up the Promenade des Anglais to a rocky outcrop where in the early evening gorgeous Tunisian boys are in a group singing, dancing and "percussing" barefoot, in white capri pants and floaty white tops..................well worth the walk up the hill!!!!
