Restaurant Name: Seafood Market and Restaurant
I was was curious about this place when I saw the sign and I eventually went and checked it out. A unique experience, that's for sure.
Basically you walk in and you are led to a table. From there, you place your drinks order and then you are assigned a 'personal shopper', with whom you wander around and select your dinner from all the fish in the deli at the back of the restaurant. I got a bit carried away here but the choice was amazing. I think I ended up getting about twenty oysters, not to mention prawns and lobster. Anyway, once you have picked out your seafood, you pay for it at the cash register and then it's back to the table, where the chef marches out and asks you how you would like each dish prepared.
Favorite Dish: The food was great and if I could recommend anything, it would have to be the tiger prawns in chilli sauce. This restaurant is a bit expensive for Bangkok (if you have a big appetite) but it's the kind of thing you should do once.
