There are a couple of supermarkets in the town, tucked away from the central square. The best one is on the Av. Dr. Candido Madureira, just after the roundabout coming from the Ponte Nova (New Bridge). This one is very modern, but there's an older one closer to the center at the convent end of Rua Alexandre Herculano.
