Residencial Sinagoga and other Tomar, Portugal Hotel/Accommodation Reviews

Claimed by my guidebook to be the most plush of the residencials in town I wasn't disappointed, especially at the excellent price of 34 euros a night. This was an amazing price for the quality of the service and the time of year, although you might want to email in advance to make sure the price is still the same, as what I was offered through email was a lot less than the advertised rate when I arrived at the hotel itself. The place was very clean, comfortable and well presented, and my only gripe was that my bedroom window backed onto a noisy air conditioning unit. That plus Tomar's howling canine population gave me a less than perfect night's sleep.

It's quite hard to find any information about any but the big expensive hotels in the town, and harder still to find anywhere that will book them online. I took the effort of emailing every Resedencial in the town that had an address, three responded and I stayed at the Sinagoga detailed above. To help any others wanting to visit the town save time, I'll repost the information the other two resedentials gave me here. The prices, obviously, are not guaranteed and subject to offers and negotiation.
