Restaurant Name: Haret Jdoudna
On the same road as the St. George's Church is possibly Madaba's most famous eatery, the Haret Jdoudna. Inside the cool courtyard there is a cafe and a restaurant. The cafe serves up cheap snacks and strong coffee, the restaurant has a fine range of dishes, at a very good price, with a wonderful local ambience. It's popular with locals, tourists, and the few ex-pats that live in the city.
They have English menus, English speaking staff, and is a great place for vegetarians as well as meat eaters.
