    Getting TO/AROUND: Bamberg is very conveniently located for train journeys, either as a day trip from Nuremberg, or as a stop-off en route to Berlin from Munich. Bamberg is served by both regional trains, which can take you to places like nearby Coburg, and also the main ICE link from Munich to Hamburg. This means you can be in Bamberg in half an hour from Nuremberg, in two hours from Munich and in four hours from Berlin. Bamberg is also in Bavaria, along with Nuremberg and Munich, so you can also take advantage of the Bavarian Regional Ticket (Bayern Lander Ticket), which allows you to travel all over Bavaria with up to a total of five people for a whole day for only 22 euros.
