Linking Brazil, Paraguay, and Argentina are Iguacu Falls. We arrived in Foz do Iguacu at 5:00 AM after an unexpected overnight bus ride from Curitiba (the airport in Foz do Iguacu was closed due to heavy rain so Varig arranged a bus trip after getting us to the closest airport they could). Since there had been several days of storms, the water in the falls was more brown than usual. |
| | Our hotel, the Continental Inn - Interesting architecture. |
We explored the Brazilian side first. Viewing them from this side gives you more of a broad overview of the falls. The view is more intimate on the Argentinian side. | | |
