Stresa and the Bristol Hotel

by genebeans - last update: Aug 29, 2007

Great area for exploring and Bristol Hotel was num

We loved just taking the local boats to the nearby villages for the day as each one is it,s own island etc. Stresa itself is fun to walk around and there are plenty of shops and places to eat.
Most important we loved the Hotel Bristol which is rated a four star but can easily be a five star. Rates were reasonable for our junior suite and breakfast was terrific. Rooms wee very clean and a friendly staff..We truly enjoyed our 8 nights here-Gene

Hi, we had 2 nights at the Bristol Hotel in 2005, agree with you a fantastic hotel, went to the Bromello Island etc, it rained the 2 days we were there.
