"Blue Lagoon at its best" Tavewa Island by mlwtravel

Tavewa Island is towards the end of the Yasawa Island chain. Taking 4 1/2 hours by high speed ferry or 35 minutes by sea plane. There are 3 main backpacker resorts on this island. Coral View Resort, Otto and Fannys and Davids Place. The island does have a couple of good beaches but there are no villages. Snorkelling everywhere around the island is pretty good, and in the blue lagoon is even better. There is a dive shop also located on the island

I spent one full week on Tevewa. The only electricity is by generator. Which is actually nice and after be on the island you feel a world away from the modern world. Staying at the Coral View Resort you feel would think you might get bored, but you will be amazed at how much you can do on such a small island with no modern facilities.
