Restaurant Name: Restaurant at the Holiday Inn
I find hotel restaurants always a bit overpriced. This one follows the trend but the food is great.
Breakfast includes everything you can think about.
There are lots of fruit and even veggies if you don't want to give in to the pancakes, croissants, cream cakes, sausages and bacon.
Dinner can be from the buffet or the menu.
I found the salad (from the buffet) a bit expensive at $7.50. The complete buffet is $18 but too much for me.
My husband and Rian found this a good option. They have no problem when it comes to food.
I must say the salads are great. It included a lot of fish dishes.
I have one difficult child when it comes to eating and seeing there were no pizzas and hamburgers on the menu he ended up with a plate of chips most of the time. The menu is not very child-friendly and if you have little ones it might be a problem finding something for them.
Favorite Dish: I loved the salads. I had some new interesting dishes. One night they had a great tuna dish and mussels. The other night there were calamari and an amazing dish they made with aubergines. They also used a lot of chickpeas in their salads.
It was very different from the saladbar at our local Spur where pasta and potatoes are the favourite ingredients for salads.
