    • Hermanus is known for it's whales, with a whale-crier and all but even without the whales Hermanus is a beautiful town with the best coastline I've ever seen. Not much of a beach. Just a few km away to Onrus and Kleinmond there are beaches if you really need one. But the views in Hermanus is just amazing. Don't miss it!!!!

    • The whales are fascinating. There is a restaurant down on the rocks. You are very close to the sea. We could sit there for hours watching the whales.

    In this picture (it's very small, a little black spot ) there is a baby seal swimming with the whales.

    • Take a walk on the rocks (there is not much of a beach). There are nice paths along the sea. Take a walk through the town. Lots of nice shops, crafts, art, antiques etc. Tons of coffee shops and restaurants. I loved the look of this guest house.

     Usually you have to rent a boat to go whale watching. You’re lucky to fins a spot where you can watch whales from shore.
