Hermanus has a special vibe that cannot be described. You have to feel it. People say it is expensive. It might be but it is worth every cent you pay. If you look at the accommodation tip you will see that there are still reasonable priced places.
There is so much to do, the bay and the ocean is so beautiful you are scared to go to sleep. You might just miss something.
You have to see and feel it to understand it.
- Pros:The atmosphere, the bay, the ocean
- Cons:Expensive, I suppose
- In a nutshell:Amazing , oh yes and you can watch the whales

great tips!
Usually you have to rent a boat to go whale watching. You’re lucky to fins a spot where you can watch whales from shore.
I love Hermanus :) We bought a divine blue wood mirror there with metal dolphins on it. It's in storage in CT :( Sucha beautiful area. Thanks for the memories! Jen x
Annette, this is a delightful page filled with lots of good, helpful information. The photographs are certainly enticing. Thanks for this lovely tour of Hermanus.
Yep! Hermanus is nice. Hoping to go there soon! I do prefer the hake and chips though.:) Have a great w/end Annette.
