Hermanus has a special vibe that cannot be described. You have to feel it. People say it is expensive. It might be but it is worth every cent you pay. If you look at the accommodation tip you will see that there are still reasonable priced places.
There is so much to do, the bay and the ocean is so beautiful you are scared to go to sleep. You might just miss something.
You have to see and feel it to understand it. |

Jim_Eliason Sat Jan 5, 2008 07:01 UTC great tips! | penumbra Tue Sep 19, 2006 04:00 UTC Usually you have to rent a boat to go whale watching. You’re lucky to fins a spot where you can watch whales from shore. | Jenniflower Wed Jul 12, 2006 20:16 UTC I love Hermanus :) We bought a divine blue wood mirror there with metal dolphins on it. It's in storage in CT :( Sucha beautiful area. Thanks for the memories! Jen x | deecat Sun Jan 15, 2006 00:41 UTC Annette, this is a delightful page filled with lots of good, helpful information.
