Sharm was quite a modern Jewel located on the Sinai in Egypt. If you're looking for a more touristy, all-inclusive sort of vacation, I recommend it. Great snorkeling and lots of amenities nearby.
Enjoy the sun and sand.
If you like a more laid-back atmosphere (with even more great snorkeling), I recommend checking out Dahab (see my Dahab page)! Only an hour away from Sharm, I thought it had great charm (and was a lot less expensive) :)
