Comfortable 4-star accommodation. Seems popular with tour groups. Conveniently located near shopping and tourist sites, and there is a metro station (Chongwenmen stn) right in front of the hotel's entrance!
Disappointed with the buffet breakfast at the Chinese restaurant. The restaurant has large round tables which you need to share with strangers, and the food selection was limited.
Overall it was a good stay though.

Unique Qualities: It's a 5 mins taxi ride to Wang Fu Jin shopping district, and there are also other dept stores within 5 mins walking distance.

This hotel is owned by the Guangxi Provincial government and seems geared towards local Chinese business travellers.

The hotel room was comfortable and the breakfast buffet was good. However only Chinense TV programmes were available so don't expect to get your daily CNN/BBC service!
Quite a distance from the commercial and tourist centres of Beijing but plenty of taxis available in the area.

It is 5 mins walking distance from the largest flea market in Beijing, at Panjiayuan, so this is the place to stay if you intend to buy lots of antiques and furniture.
