If anyone's planning to visit my home town, I feel I ought to mention that there's a lot more to it than being the drinking capital of Europe (which is what we've recently become famous for, and it's true that we do have a lot of pubs!). The centre of town is a great centre for shopping, eating and sightseeing, we've got a fantastic museum and gallery here, and there are events on all year round at the various venues. Cardiff Bay has events on during the summer (including the Celtic Food Festival) and has some great restaurants. In the wider area there's a lot of castles, historic buildings and beautiful countryside. Come and see for yourself!
