I'm kinda wimpy when it comes to traveling so the fact that most people in Amsterdam speak English was a big plus! My sister went to Germany on a foreign exchange program in college so my parents sent me out to see her. I spent one night in Berlin, jumped on a train to Amsterdam and didn't return until my flight was due to leave! My sister was pissed and called my parents. I was 18 year's old! I've since returned twice but I recently gave up smoking doob so I haven't returned. Besides, I've been to Europe 3 times and I've only seen one city! There is a reason for this: Amsterdam was too much fun. If you are ready for a little culture shock in an English speaking city then give Amsterdam a shot! Don't forget to visit the Sex Museum!!!
