Sunset Sailing - Cable Beach - WA - Broome

Heading North (about 12/14 hours I think!) from Exmouth I arrived at Broome. The town is small and pleasant and has some good facilities (like the open air cinema), there is also a decent nightlife here - see my tip!

The main attraction though is nearby Cable Beach, a long stretch of sand with decent surf for body boarding and good swimming. The sunsets from the beach can be truly stunning.

Camel rides are popular as the sun is setting - I didn't do it, but it looked like fun.

Pros and Cons

Pros:A pleasant town and a beautiful beach
Cons:It's so isolated
In a nutshell:A great place to stop for a week or more up the West Coast - one of my favourites.
