Outside
We heard some good reports last year and didnt go so thought why not give it a try.
We went to check out the price one afternoon and got a free tour of the restuaruant, arena and some of the art work etc. it was all quite spectacular. We purchases our tickets that day for the english night, and got to choose which seats we wanted in the restaurant.
Total cost 180 EGP which includeds buffet dinner, entertainment whilst eating and than the Sound and Light Show.

Having a go on the pipe
We booked this trip through our Thomas Cook Rep at the hotel
We traveled into the dessert by coach which was about 20 minutes from the airport. It was much bigger than we thought there was a stage where the entertainment would take place with seating area around the edge, which consits of big cushions and tables.
We started the evening enjoying a drink from the free bar and than had a good on one of the pipes.
Later we were all called up to help our selves to a 3 course buffet, the food was really good lots of it.
After having another drink the entertainment started, we had already seen some of this at Fantasia they had the same dancers and man who thinks nothing of spinning around for an hour - although here everyone could have ago, there was also a belly dancer.
The atmosphere was good and the reps got everyone up joining in the fun.
To finish the night off we did some Star gazing, we all walked onto the top of a small hill and sat down on rugs then all the lots were turned off. You could see loads as it was dark and away from the lights of Nama Bay.

A few drinks before dinner
We went here most evenings before we had dinner as they where selling bottles of Stella 3 for 2 (approx 3.00 GBP for 3 bottles - bargain). The staff where all very pleasant and the seats were nice and comfy.
Pipes were also available along with some lovely looking alcohol free cocktails ( i never did have one but they looked really good)

Beccy Horse Riding
Before show starts we were asked if we wanted to ride one of the camels or horses. They only wanted 1 EGP so i thought great and jumped on to the horse. Thinking about it, it probobly was the best idea as id been drinking and had no hat on thank fully i didnt fall off.
Then the sound and light show starts this was very good and worth going for.

Spinning Man
During our meal at Fantasia there where dancers to watch and a very good belly dancer. My favourite was probobly the 'Man who thinks nothing of spinning around for an hour' and thats just what he did - amazing.

The local beer is nice, its stella not like the stuff you get here but still nice, or sakara this is a bit weaker, then there is mister with will blow your head off 8% vol , these are stella bottles on the pic. They also do excellent food and great milkshakes, my wife already told me she will be having one when we go back.
