Creatative Mexicana: 2006 - Mexicana Pool amd Gardens

The gardens in the hotel were excellent very well kept and the two pools where also very nice.

This is the smaller pool in the hotel and a little quiter than the large one although there is a swim up bar in the other pool. We never had a problem getting a sunbed although like any where you go some people put there towles out first thing and then you dont see them untill after lunch.

Every evening a man came around with a big blowing machine to kill off all the mozzies make sure to close your doors and windows, he usually came around about 6.00pm.

This is a nice hotel with 2 pools , the plants and trees are all well kept , and the room we had was big - see pictures 2, 3 and 4.

There were 4 rooms in total - bedroom with dressing table and wadrobe, living room with TV sofa and dinning table, Kitchen with hob, kettle and fridge and the bathroom with hairdryer. The towels were changed everyday and the cleaner sometimes made patterns on the bed with flowers.

Unique Qualities: Good surroundings - mini supermarket 2 mins away, much cheaper for drinks and snacks than in the hotel, and they had no problem with us bring drinks/fsnacks into the hotel.

For a littre bottle of water in most shops you can expect to pay 2 EGP - approx 20p.

Lots of taxis pass the hotel.

Mini bus to the beach and Namma bay on the evening - although only 2 trips to namma the first one at 9.00pm so we often got a taxi down abit earlier for 25 EGP.

The pool at the hotel is great for families. Theres no such entertainment during the day but there is a net in the pool for volley ball.

This is our room in the hotel, on arrival at the hotel we asked for a room on the second floor so we would have a good view. We were shown 3 rooms and choose this one which was a suite much bigger than the other rooms and only had to pay £35.00 for 14 nights.

The Cobra on the bed was made using the towels by our cleaner. He was nice enough to show me how to make a number of things using the towels, although i must point out that the room wasn't cleaned daily and we even had to ask for toilet paper on one occasion and clean towels.
