This was our first visit to this area of Florida. Found it to be alittle too upscale not really laid back. Not many attractions unless you go into Naples or Everglades City. Naples is about 30 minutes away, Everglades City about 45 minutes, Miami about 1 1/2 hours. Too many highrise condos blocking the views from any roads. Good view from Angler's Cove where we stayed.

  • Pros:Nice place to visit, upscale.
  • Cons:Too upscale
  • In a nutshell:Alittle out of the way. About 15 miles from Naples.

Good dining experience Restaurants (2)

Good place to dine on the water from in a back bay. Really nice scenery, mangrove islands. Lots of birds flying around.... more travel advice

Great little neighborhood bar and grill Restaurants (2)

This place was recommended by the manager of a local marina. Tried it the day we arrived and went back two more times... more travel advice
