Spent a week in Port-au-Prince on business, mostly in the Carrefour suburb and the sub-districts of Bas Tannerie, Cite Tome, Chau 'd Eeu and a few others.

First thing you will notice is the incredible amount of trash. It covers some of the streets, sidewalks, and alleys.

Security is a concern in the capital city. Watch your step.

Pros and Cons

Pros:Wonderful people.
Cons:Dirty city. Not the safest city.
