The last time I went there it was my aunty's 5 wedding aniversary. From the moment we walked up the marble staircase and was greeted by a very friendly receptionist. The place is mordern and has comtemporary feel to it. We were early so we decided to have a drink at the bar, the cocktails were excellent! he he he
Foods are exquisit!
Favorite Dish: It has a vast selection of light meals, including, grilled Italian sandwiches, linguini, salads and desserts.

Sofra
Sofra is a Turkish restaurant that serves delicious Turkish dishes, drinks and a selection of desert!
The interior is warm and relaxing with scented candles on each table which could easily put you in the "mood". We were provided with Humus, black & green olives in herbs & bread almost as soon as we sat down. The waitor who served us were extremely friendly and chatty - we became buddies within minutes! We didn't have to wait long for the food to come in which surprised us, considering that the place was 3/4 full.
Cause we were so utterly friendly to one of the waitor (who we assumed could be the supervisor), he happily let us sample a selection of Turkish sweets/deserts... for FREE!
The food is most exquisite, the menu will satisfy both vegetarians and meat eaters. It was a very enjoyable meal and I would recommend it highly to anyone.

BBQ
Friendly and warm korean 'cafe' style restaurant. Spacious decor and very friendly service.
Serves genuine Korean food. Good variety of dishes. Specialty lunch set menus are great value, and the landmark of a good Korean restaurant is its spicy pickled cabbage called 'kimchi'.
The first time I went to Ran, I couldn't help noticing that almost 3/4 customers were Koreans. Most of staff are also Koreans and speak good English.
Favorite Dish: Barbecued pork, beef, ribs, and chicken dishes are consistently tasty.
Raw beef can be barbecued in front of you and it's entirely up to you how it should be cooked.

Melati is an Indonesian restaurant with a wide selection of authentic dishes. It's a small place decorated in a very cosy Indonesian style, cool and tropical them colour on wooden wall. The staffs are so friendly and well manered. We sat beside a large window.. it's amusing to see a couple of "sex" shops opposite the restaurant - nevertheless it adds character to this place :)
There is a narrow stair case that leads to a toilet located right in the middle of the restaurant which is quite unusual ;)
Favorite Dish: I had Satay grilled marinated chicken and beef with rice cakes, cucumber and peanut sauce - LUSH!!!!
For main course, I was torn between Char Kway Teow and Hokkein Char Mee. I love hor fun *flat noodles" so I opt for Char Kway Teow - GOOD CHOICE!!!!!

AlFresco is one of the finest Italian restaurant in Barnet. When I walked into the place, I was struck by it's liveliness and energy. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Interior is amazingly lively with full of antiques, pantings, cups, wine bottles and... an old sewing machine!!!! The rest has character indeed!
I went there for my birthday once, my friends' birthday, friend's wedding aniversaries, Xmas dinner etc. The waitor would bring out cakes and along with their guitar and joyously sing Happy Birthday songs - very LOUD!!! :)
I absolutely love that place. You have to be there to experience it.

The restaurant setting is almost like wagamma but with warm interior, great place to go in a group with the bench seating. The food tastes better then wagamma though. What attracts me to this place is the cosy atmosphere downstairs and BENTO BOXes!!!!

One cocktail please!!!
I didn't know this place exist until my friend took me there. Hakkasan is not dificult to find but you've got to go through a back street off Tottenham Court Road. There were bouncers in suits with earphones guarding the doorway. It's up to them whether they will let you enter or not. Turning up scruffy and weird won't do you any good!
I was overwhelmed with the decorations, people, food and lightings. It's so.... i think sexy is the word.
Some dishes can be pricy but my friend paid for it that time (thank god!).
I will definately go back there again (someday)!!!

Stylish and friendly reception..
This place is so cool and stylish. I've never seen any chinese restaurant as beautiful as this. The interior is sleek, modern and oriental mix and very very "Sex and the city" (if you have seen the episodes, you know what i mean!)
If you have seen About A Boy, staring Hugh Grant, there is a short scene of him in Hakkasan eating chinese while he dump his girlfriend in the process....

Dine in style
From the creators of Wagamama is this high class Chinese eaterie with hip decor and adventurous food.
Hakkasan is an uber-cool, Sex-In-The-City chic restaurant with very good food and service and a great ambience.
