Pescasseroli is a picturesque town in the heart of the Abruzzo national park and home to many wild animals some of which can only be seen in this region. Be prepared to do a lot of walking but the rewards are worth it. Needless to say the views are breath taking but on my trip I spotted chamois, eagle, wolf and came face to face with a wild bear - eeekk!!! |
